Monica McDaniel
Art Tour Committee and Liaison to the Chico Arts Commission
Moving to Chico in 1993 to pursue a degree in the CSUChico School of the Arts and completing it in 1996, she ended up staying in Chico and building her life there. She is currently raising two lovely daughters and passionately giving her free time to various arts endeavors and organizations. She is the Chair of the City of Chico Arts Commission, serving her fourth term as a Commissioner, a post she has held since 2009.
Monica is the Operations Manager of the Historic Oroville State Theater and secondly is the Career Technical Educator for the performing arts at Hearthstone School.
She is the proud founder of the Chico Arts and Culture Foundation which she established in 2011 and has served as past President and Vice President and on numerous committees.
