06. Glass Mosaic: The Ascent

This Mosaic mural is to the right of Historic Hotel diamond and it was actually commissioned by Wayne Cook who renovated the hotel in a very historically Accurate Way and was a big art lover and commissioned the tile mosaic to depict the fish of Chico the water of Chico it's created by rainforest art project Studio by Dan and Chris Evans and it is actually made from glass. Not all Mosaic is tile; there's a lot of Mosaic that's done in glass and this one is a particularly fine example of how you can make a very dramatic statement and very colorful with Mosaic glass.
