09. Transit Center Fencing

On the corner of 2nd and Salem is the downtown Transit Center and when the project was being proposed by the city capital projects Department it was decided to include an artist on the design team Eddie martinezhood joined Dave schweiger the architect and they came up with some wonderful design features to be included in the transit center the biggest one is the fencing which again Chico is so known and enjoys all of its creeks and so Eddie Martinez Hood wanted to make sure to give a nod to those creeks and so he created a fence with the kind of undulating water like movement and that was installed in the transit center fencing.
