Transcript:

Local stained glass artist Elizabeth Devereaux was part of the design team who designed City Plaza and one of the things she felt was really important was to honor the elm trees that had stood in that park for over 100 years that had to be cut down the people really agree those trees so one of the things she did was create light fixtures that were giant elm leaves made out of copper they're on either side of what is known as the chest tables area so she also created these chess tables for people to play out of Mosaic and then the largest project in the plaza that she influenced was the world map Fountain Mosaic and when the fountain is on the map comes alive it's the world and there's a little marker that shows where Chico is and Elizabeth talked about how she really wanted to point out that she goes part of the bigger world.
