Anne Sisney is a California native who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She was originally drawn to Chico to attend Chico State where she earned a teaching credential. Upon graduation, she loved the area so much she decided to stay. Anne has been a teacher in Butte county for over twenty years, and she is currently a reading intervention teacher at Wilson Elementary in Gridley. She is a proud mother of two children, a son and a daughter. She developed a life-long love and interest in the arts from her father who was an art dealer in San Francisco and represented many California artists. She is excited to be chairing the Downtown Art Tour Committee for the Chico Arts and Culture Foundation. She is dedicated t giving back to a community that has given her so much.
